Benjamin's Hope
Benjamin was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia two weeks after celebrating his 13th birthday. During his 9 month battle, he held on to the hope that he would defeat cancer. Benjamin planned his future, shared his dreams, hoped & prayed that his friends & family would never know cancer or experience his pain, suffering & fears. Benjamin will always be remembered as thoughtful, loving, caring, witty & wise beyond his years. His death has left a void in the hearts of those who love & miss him. Although cancer took his life on December 6, 2012, his hopes for the future did not die with him. Our organization seeks to honor Benjamin’s Hope for the Future by raising awareness & funding promising treatments with the hope for a cure for pediatric cancer.
